Snipes

We spent some time at the marsh tonight, and a snipe circled us constantly, calling for us to leave the premises!

We hated to disturb it, but it was so enjoyable getting a close view of it.

Vacation

The Carstairs Rodeo began with Friday night fireworks. We left town on Saturday.

Hailstorm

We had a hailstorm tonight. I'd say this was the size of golfballs, wouldn't you? They made an incredible thunk as they hit the roof.

This weekend on our way home from Brooks we stopped in at the Drumheller hoodoos.
