Trip to B.C.

We started off with snow, but the roads were clear.

Just outside of Golden there were Mountain Sheep on the road. There were about 7 or 8, but I only photographed two. After all, I was driving at the time. The traffic had slowed right down because everyone was stopping to tke pictures.

On the way back the trees were gorgeous.

View through tunnel.

Front Sidewalk

I am very happy with the walk.
In the spring we'll put decorative stones in between the big rocks.

Praise God from Whom all Blessings Flow!

Kaleb Timothy was born on September 26th at 9:37 a.m.
He was 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 21 inches long.

And of course he is adorable and very well-behaved!

Not a bad head of hair for a one-day- old! They're making noises about it being red.

There is red hair on both sides of the family. Or is it just the reflection from Jess's hair?!

Results of Poll

Thanks to all those who added to the fun by entering a prediction of Junaita's delivery date.
Grandpa Schmidt's date was the closest. He was 1 day early at September 25th. Michael and Sharlene McDonald's prediction of the time was within 5 minutes of being on: Kaleb was born at 9:37 a.m. and they predicted 9:42. Ten people predicted a girl, and only 4 a boy. Juanita certainly kept us all guessing! She delivered with only one prediction date left. By the way, it was on the day of the full moon.

Visiting with Darrell and Jess

Their street is gorgeous this time of year!

Darrell's "office". He works with media and technical stuff.

He spent the week moving programs from an older computer to a new one.

Enjoying Beauty

Yellow-headed blackbird in the evening light

My sunflowers outside are freezing, but I still have one inside! When I thinned out my sunflowers I planted one in a pot. Now I can enjoy it awhile longer than the other ones.

Sept.24th and we're still waiting....
Only 3 people left in the running!
